Driver setup

Location is your home-terminal city/state, not your current travel location. A limited offline lookup suggests a timezone; confirm it with your carrier. For unrecognized or split-zone locations, select it manually. No location leaves this device. Daily trip fields are saved separately for each reporting date.

Start and Resume duty record on-duty, non-driving time. Not driving is still work. Off duty stops duty accumulation and starts rest; use it only when genuinely relieved of duty. A locked screen does not stop elapsed time. Check timestamps if your device clock changes.

No driving-clearance calculation. Unrecorded history is unknown, not off duty. All totals are decimal hours.

Your records

Reports use your configured home-terminal timezone and midnight day boundary. Travel does not change that timezone. Driving is included in total duty. Calendar weeks are Sunday–Saturday; work cycles restart only after a recorded 34-hour rest. Partial days stay partial.

Duty changes & corrections

Correction timestamps are entered in UTC to avoid ambiguous daylight-saving times. Original events and correction reasons remain in backups. Removing a change makes the preceding status continue.

Backup & restore

Records stay in this browser, without app-level encryption or sign-in. Use a device passcode. Clearing browser data, private browsing, or losing the device can lose everything. Save backups to Files regularly, ideally somewhere separate from this device. Backups include all records and correction history; protect them as private data.

No automatic external backups. A download is not verified until you check the saved file.

Excel/email exports and installable offline operation are not included in this first release. Keep this page available online to reopen it.
